Ruissalo - Land of the Old Oak Forests
Ruissalo Island, or Ruissalon saari, is a picturesque getaway in Turku, Finland, renowned for its lush natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere. We went here and visited the Botanic Garden of the University of Turku, Ruissalon kasvitieteellinen puutarha. We also walked to the nearby beach from the garden and enjoyed a delightful picnic. After that, we rode the Vesibussi, which is free with a monthly Föli pass, and you can even take your bike on the water bus.
