Siargao’s food scene has undergone a remarkable transformation, and we were lucky enough to experience it firsthand during our recent trip. While we enjoyed our meals at many restaurants, Roots and CEV stood out as absolute favorites. Their delicious food and exceptional service made them the highlight of our culinary adventure.
Interestingly, this wasn’t always the case. On our visit to Siargao last year, we found the options somewhat limited compared to the vibrant scene we encountered this time around. This positive change has even altered my travel habits. Previously, I would always crave Japanese food when traveling in Asia, Europe, or North America, simply because I couldn’t find the same level of quality and variety elsewhere. However, Siargao has now become an exception, offering such an impressive array of delicious options that I no longer find myself missing Japanese cuisine as much.
Overall, we were truly impressed by the evolution of Siargao’s culinary landscape. With its burgeoning number of high-quality restaurants serving up amazing food, the island has quickly become a foodie paradise.
